After 11 years of experience in western and eastern Washington, Fusion Architecture was founded out of a passion for working through all stages of the construction process.  Fusion Architecture is about working not only with clients through the design process, but also forming good relationships with the contractors and builders we work with to create a positive overall project outcome.

Education and Background:

Rex graduated from the University of Idaho with bachelor's and master's degrees in architecture in addition to an art minor.  Following graduation, Rex spent 8 years working in Seattle, five of those years were spent at MITHUN, where he learned the values of sustainability, integrated design and biophilic design.  Following the birth of their first child, Rex and his family moved to eastern Washington, near where he and his wife grew up.  Before founding Fusion Architecture in 2013, Rex spent two years working for ALSC in Spokane, working with the Eastmont school district in East Wenatchee, WA, remodeling two of its schools; Grant Elementary and Sterling Middle School.

Fusion Architecture is based in Liberty Lake, Washington and provides commercial and residential design services in Washington and Idaho. Having worked for two nationally recognized architecture firms and spent years working in the field with large construction companies on multi-million dollar projects; Fusion Architecture is based on the premise of providing quality design services to its clients, fostering lasting relationships with the construction teams they work with and making a positive impact on the community.
